Cant open java control panel mac
The " Reopen the Java Control Panel " button doesn't do anything. There isn't any separate window anywhere. I'm getting the same thing.

And when I try to reinstall it, the Java installer just bounces a few times and never opens a window. Never starts, unable to reinstall it. By now it's pretty obvious something is not right in my home directory, but it's not being intuitive. Home Questions Tags Users Unanswered. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Thanks for the advice. I have no Java Controller anymore though and program still is being blocked. Nov 23, AM. Question: Q: cannot open Java control panel More Less. I left the older java version checked, because I had a feeling that the new update version 7 was the problem After that Control Panel opened with no problems.
This fixed my problem with not being able to open Control panel from start button.
